We are looking for a Software Engineer with PySpark development skills who is ready to learn and rapidly grow professionally. You will be a part of the team that works on challenging tasks and are responsible for the whole development lifecycle from architecture to implementation, deployment, and testing.
About the project
The client is one of the leading providers of healthcare solutions in the US, working with more than 10,000 organisations and 80M patients.
The project is an analytical system that allows users to report on clinical measures used for regulatory reporting programs.
Technical stack
- Medallion architecture (bronze/silver/gold).
- AWS (EMR Serverless, Lambda, S3, Step Function, SQS, etc.).
- Jenkins / Terraform.
- Spark / PySpark.
- Backend: Python, C#.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging.
- Write clean code to develop functional services.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications.
- Address technical and design requirements.
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
- Collaborate with developers, QAs, DevOps, POs to deliver new features.
- Follow emerging technologies.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in software development.
- Knowledge of SOLID principles.
- Knowledge of Python 3.9 + features.
- Knowledge of PySpark 3+ features.
- Knowledge of CI/CD (Jenkins, Terraform, AWS).
- Experience with Version control system (Git, etc.).
- Experience with relational databases(PostgreSQL).
- Experience in unit testing frameworks (pytest).
- Intermediate+ English level.
Would be a plus
- Knowledge of Apache Iceberg features.
