Our approach

Initiation & discovery

We’ll establish the foundation for future collaboration by diving further into the concept of your custom software solution and creating a product design at this stage. This phase includes:

  • Identification of your needs and expectations
  • Time and budget estimation
  • Defining your requirements and writing specifications
  • UX/UI design
  • Team allocation

Development & QA

This is the stage of the process when your concept becomes a real product. It includes:

  • Front-end development
  • Back-end development
  • Project management and reporting
  • Modification request and implementation
  • Testing and bug fixing

Delivery & release

The delivery stage of the custom software development process is when our team shows the client the final product. It covers:

  • Production environment setup
  • Code/database migration
  • Performance final check
  • Documentation transfer

Post-release support

We can ensure that your custom software remains functional and relevant after it has been released by providing necessary technical support. Post-release support is a step in the life cycle of a product that includes:

  • Monitoring of the performance
  • Server and cloud infrastructure maintenance
  • Troubleshooting
  • Updates & upgrades of existing functionality
  • New features development

VITech cooperation models

Dedicated team

VITech acts as a virtual extension of the client’s own development team. The Dedicated Team model is focused on building a long-term strategic partnership between VITech and a Client and assures a high level of knowledge retention; full alignment with the client’s standards, processes, and policies; and wide flexibility for a client to utilize a team for different requirements or needs. Highly recommended for long-term projects with unclear requirements that change as the scope evolves.

Key benefits:

  • Most cost-effective model for the long-term collaboration
  • Transparency and visibility
  • Highly scalable and flexible in resourcing
  • Daily interaction and regular reports
  • More control on resources and project knowledge
  • Low risk for both VITech and Client

Time and material

This is one of the most common contract types in software outsourcing business. In this model, projects are contracted for a defined or open-ended number of hours to provide clients with greater flexibility to manage evolving requirements on an ongoing basis. In Time and Material (T&M) contracts, VITech bill a work scope based on hourly labor rates, plus the cost of any materials. The main advantage of the T&M model is the flexibility and the opportunity to adjust requirements, shift directions, replace features, and involve on-demand specialists to get to the final product. However, such flexibility has its price – the actual cost may differ from the estimated cost when it comes to the final implementation budget.

Key benefits:

  • Full flexibility in managing scope changes and resource utilization
  • Applicable for projects of all sizes and complexities
  • Simple to understand and implement
  • A high level of resource control for the client
  • Moderate risk for Client

Fixed price

In the Fixed Price model, VITech charges a fixed fee for predefined deliverables. This model is apt for projects that are built around a fixed scope, budget, and timeline. By running a fixed price, VITech and a Client share some scope-related risks. Therefore, the project scope should be well-defined and deeply detailed from the very beginning; failing to do so may impact cost and timelines. This model is best suited for small to mid-sized projects.

Key benefits:

  • Standard, agreed procedure to deal with changes
  • Predictability of the project timelines and outcomes
  • Defining your requirements and writing specifications
  • Directly addresses Client’s business needs
  • Low risk for the Client
