The transaction was announced on 23 September 2021 and included GuideStar Research and BTC of New Bedford.

VITech has been an Elligo Health Research trusted partner since 2016 involved in building a proprietary technology platform for Elligo Health Research to support clinical research processes. The announced acquisition will create the large End-to-End Healthcare-Enabling Research Organization.
