Since the beginning of the war, VITech has spent more than 822 000 UAH on military and humanitarian needs. The company has donated 663 000 UAH to the international charitable foundation COME BACK ALIVE, to the special account of the National Bank of Ukraine collecting money to support the Ukrainian army, to the State Concern «Ukroboronprom», which is a strategic manufacturer of weapons and military hardware in Ukraine.
In addition to the expenses already incurred by the company, our employees donated over UAH 159 000 by deducting the agreed amounts from their salaries. Besides that, many individual donations were made from employees’ personal accounts, the total amount of which cannot be calculated. Many of our staff are volunteers, they organize military equipment, humanitarian aid, medical supplies, and help Ukrainian soldiers and refugees.
VITech participates in the special project “Vision: the system of high-precision recognition of people and vehicles”. This automated system will help to expand the functionality of the centralized video surveillance system in the Lviv region. The project is supported and funded by the Lviv IT Cluster, in cooperation with the Lviv Regional Military Administration and the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Lviv region.
“Vision” project will enable law enforcement officers to analyze and identify suspects and vehicles and track movements according to specified parameters. The system is on constant improvement and expansion of functionality.
